RUTIN: The Police Application for Road Users
RUTIN is a police application available on Android that provides road users with travel information and navigation. The app is built solely on real information from official bodies and does not contain any user signals. The National Police Headquarters issues the new version of the application, which is now available for download.
The app displays police accident alerts, traffic restriction information of Magyar Közút Nonprofit Zrt., and Budapest Transport Center. All of this data is integrated into the new navigation module, which helps users avoid roadblocks when planning a route. The app allows users to personalize it by setting the type of events they want to receive push notifications for on their phone. Users can also specify which counties or highways they want to receive road information from, or have notifications based on their position. Additionally, users can save their favorite routes when using navigation.
It is important to note that the RUTIN system is currently in trial mode, and service failures may occur without prior notice for maintenance reasons.
